Zeus was our first show dog purchased from Vic & Virginia Fleming of Koyabara Akitas.  From the moment I laid eyes on Zeus he was it for me!  However he was to be sold as a show potential and we only looking for a companion, I agreed to the terms of showing Zeus, so this is where I entered into the next journey of my life and what a journey it has been since!

From the time Zeus was old enough to walk into the show ring he was always highly competitive taking several RWD's to majors, finished his AKC championship taking BOB over specials at the young age of 14 months and his CKC Championship was soon there after all owner/handled!  I then began to special Zeus for the love of showing him and for his love to show! We did quite well to finish 2002 as one of the Nation's Top Akitas and was invited to the very first AKC Eukanuba National Invitational Championship in 2002!  Although we did not attend this was such an honor and accredit to Zeus as a stellar representative of the breed and to have accomplished this with my first show dog owner/handled!

Zeus has been used only twice at stud with our girl Scout. In these two litter's he has sired to date 3-AKC Champions and 2-CKC Champions with other's major & pointed towards their championship's.  He is known as the gentle giant being 27 3/4" tall at 125lbs.  Zeus is not only sound structurally but mentally a true tribute to the Akita breed indeed and what any breeder and owner would want and love.  He is truly treasured by us and those that know him.

Although retired now from the show scene, Zeus and I will embark on our next journey together... his obedience title! He will also be out from time to time as a Veteran with just now turning 7-years old.  It's hard to believe how time truly does fly by... but boy how I have loved every moment of those 7 years and look forward to many more!
